Ich finde es immer gut, wenn Leute mit zu viel Geld etwas an Bedürftige abgeben. Besonders zur Weihnachtszeit eine schöne Geste.
Die "Children's Wish Foundation" ist eine Organisation, welche Wünsche für schwer -oder meist auch totkranke Kinder erfüllt.

Neues von Wiz Khalifa und Snoop Dogg!
Nach der erfolgreichen Collabo mit dem Song Young, Wild & Free und einer gemeinsamen Tour, kommt hier die Fortsetzung aus dem neuen Album der beiden Mac & Devin go to High School

New Song: B.o.B feat. T.I & Coldplay
Auf den ersten Blick eine sehr ungewöhnliche Collabo.
Auf den zweiten Blick aber gar nicht mal so abwegig, da Coldplay und B.o.B. mit ihren eher emotionalen, tiefgründigen Texten gut zusammenpassen. B.o.B.'s Rapstyle passt sehr gut zum Beat. Der Refrain von Coldplay-Sänger Chris Martin ist etwas lahm aber passend zur Stimmung des Liedes.
T.I hört man gar nicht, ich denke er hat den guten Beat zusammen mit DJ Rockstar produziert.
Alles in allem ein gut gelungener Song, aber nichts für Freunde des harten Raps.
Fazit: Kann man sowohl als Coldplay als auch als B.o.B Fan hören, nicht jedoch als Anhänger von Lil Wayne, Eminem und ähnlichen.

Young Jeezy - Leave You Alone (feat. Ne-Yo)
Meiner Meinung nach ein ganz guter Track.
Ne-Yo und Young Jeezy harmonieren gut, wobei der Refrain noch etwas mehr potenzial hat.
Das Lied handelt davon, dass eine Frau sich von ihrem Partner trennt, da dieser einen schlechten Einfluss darstellt.

Very nice Hip Hop /RnB song with a really fresh beat. The chorus by Chris Brown is just marvelous.
New Boyz rapping is dope, like you know them.
All in all a great catchy record which makes really fun to listen to.

Justin Bieber is shooting a film with Mark Wahlberg!
Actor Mark Wahlberg let this out in an interview with "New York Magazine".
Paramount Pictures will finance this project. It's the same distributor that published Justin's film " Never Say Never". It will be a drama, more details aren't announced yet.

Yes, I know I'm a bit late with this review, because "F.A.M.E." dropped more than one month ago.But I still wanna share this with you.
"F.A.M.E" released March 18, 2011, on Jive Records and means "Forgiving All My Enemies" and "Fans Are My Everything".
Many producers and songwriters, including Benny Benassi, Timbaland and Kevin McCall, worked together with Chris Brown to create this fantastic album.
The album debuted at number 1. on the US-Billboard 200 chart,selling 270,000 copies in the first week.
Chris Brown described his album like this:"On this album some of the songs are more grown-up. There are songs from all genres: from street records to others that are real soul, 808 heavy that you'll hear in the club, and then others are strictly for the heart; songs that your mom and grandma can listen to and love. Collectively, F.A.M.E. is me giving fans every aspect of who I am as far as my art, my culture, and my concepts." (source: http://www.prnewswire.com/)
Now I'll give you a review on the Songs in detail:
1.Deuces (feat. Tyga & Kevin McCall)
This Song was sold one Million times and went on number 14 on the Billboard 100 chart.
It is a slow RnB/Rap song that was also released on the "Fan of a Fan" Mixtape with Tyga.
"Deuces" is one of my favourites on this album. It tells the story of a failed relationship with a slow and chilled flow. The beat works very fine with Chris' and Tyga's voice. Kevin McCall plays with his words what i find also very nice. Chris really shows his whole potential in this song by using slow, melancholic raps in the first verse or his great singing-voice in the refrain. The Refrain is what makes this song awesome and special, because the beat and Chris' voice just sound like they belong together. All in all it's a great collabo and an essential part of the album.
Rating: 10/10
2.Up to You
After "Deuces" which I'd more classify as a Hip Hop or Rap song, follows "Up to You" a classical "Chris-Brown-Ballad".
In this tune I like the verses and especially the bridges more than the refrain, 'cause it just sounds more suitable to Breezy's voice. It's one of the "bedroomsongs" in this album.
Rating: 9/10
3. No BS
Also a "bedroomsong" but much dirtier than "Up to You". And when I said dirty, I really mean dirty!
The song is about sex, nothing more and nothing less.
His voice is nice as always, but it feels like there's something missing in the song.
It was also released on the mixtapes "Fan of a Fan" and "In My Zone 2", so I think this could have been a bonus song, not the third song.
Rating: 8,5/10
4.Look At Me Now (feat. Busta Rhymes & Lil Wayne)
The second published single of "F.A.M.E." with almost 800.000 sales and the second Highlight for me. It's peak position on the Billboard 100 chart was 6, but in my opinion it could be on places one to three, too.
Finest Hip Hop with an awesome beat produced by Afrojack. Busta is incredibly fast in this track, and Chris has done a respectable job, too. Weezy isn't very noticeable, but he's still in.
Rating: 9,5/10
5.She Ain't You
This song is a sampled version of Michael Jackson's "Human Nature". It's a very nice pop song with great lyrics. Here's an example:

CD Kritik/Review: "Rolling Papers" von Wiz Khalifa Teil 2

5.Hopes & Dreams
Hier gibts mal einen ruhigeren, langsamen Song.
Hört sich meiner Meinung nach etwas monoton an und nicht so stimmungsvoll wie der Rest des Albums.
Wertung: 7,5/10
6.Wake Up
Wieder eine ruhige Nummer mit vielen Gesangseinlagen von Wiz. Der Song dreht sich um Wiz' Karriere, die für ihn wie ein schöner Traum ist. Er möchte nicht aufwachen und hat Angst, dass alles schnell vorbei sein könnte. Man hört auch hier den typischen "Wiz-Khalifa-Refrain" raus.
Wertung: 8,5/10
7.The Race
Nach 2 langsameren Tracks folgt mit "The Race" ein poppigerer Song mit Hammermelodie.
"The Race" passt perfekt zur momentanen Jahreszeit, wo es wärmer wird, die Pflanzen blühen und man die ersten Grillabende mit Freunden verbringt.
Wertung: 9,5/10
8.Star of the Show (feat. Chevy Woods)
Auch das zweite Feature des Albums überzeugt mich nicht. Ein Lied, dass man in 20 min. wieder vergessen hat. Keine Höhepunkte, kein besonders guter Flow. Eines der schwächsten Songs des Albums.
Wertung: 6/10
9.No Sleep
Nach der schwächeren Nummer zuvor kommt hier ein weiteres, wenn nicht "DAS" Highlight des Albums. "No Sleep", ein poppiger, melodischer Song mit einem richtig geilen Refrain. Im Song geht es um eine Partynacht "with no Sleep", also ohne Schlaf. Sehr unterhaltsame und empfehlenswerte Nummer die man immer wieder anhören kann.
Wertung: 10/10
10.Get Your Shirt
Dieser Song handelt inhaltlich von einer Trennung und wird durch akustische Gitarren eingeleitet, was sehr gut zur Atmosphäre passt. Ein sehr guter Song und für mich einer der besten des Albums.
Der Refrain und die letzte Strophe sind was Besonderes und meiner Meinung nach sehr gut gelungen.

Wieder mal ein ruhiger Song.Sehr ruhig sogar. Ich würde "Top Floor" vom Stil her mit "Hopes & Dreams" vergleichen. So ähnlich würde ich ihn auch bewerten: monoton und nicht stimmungsvoll.
Als Abwechslung nicht schlecht, trotzdem kein Top Song. Der Refrain ist interessant, sagt mir aber auch nicht zu. Insgesamt etwas besser als "Hopes & Dreams".

12.Fly Solo
Auch hier wieder Gitarren! Absoluter Gute-Laune-Song, wie man es nicht erwartet hätte.
Sehr abwechslungsreich und gut anzuhören. Geht eher in Richtung RnB/ Easy Going.

13.Rooftops(feat.Curren$y)
Das letzte Feature des Albums, diesmal mit Currency, einem guten Freund von Wiz.
Das Lied ist wieder gewohnter Wiz Khalifa Style: chilliger / melodischer Rap.
Meiner Meinung nach das beste Feature.
Wertung: 8,5/10
14.Cameras
Leider schon das letzte Lied des Albums. Hier schafft Wiz einen super Ausklang. Der Song macht einfach nur Spaß und hinterlässt das Bedürfnis, die CD wieder von Beginn abzuspielen. Das Lied handelt inhaltlich vom Leben als Superstar.
Der Refrain ist typisch Wiz und einzigartig im amerikanischen Hip Hop.
Wertung: 9/10
Fazit
"Rolling Papers" ist eine hervorragende Hip Hop CD, die viel Spaß macht.
Es sind sehr viele Einflüsse zu erkennen, nicht nur "straighter" Rap oder Crunk, was die Platte sehr abwechslungsreich und zu etwas Besonderem macht.
Wiz hat einen hohen Wiedererkennungswert, ist vielseitig und s"Rolling Papers" spricht ein weites Auditorium an, vielleicht kommt er auch bald in Deutschland an.
Insgesamt kann ich diese abwechslungsreiche CD jedem Hip Hop Fan 100%ig empfehlen.

5.Hopes & Dreams
Hier gibts mal einen ruhigeren, langsamen Song.
Hört sich meiner Meinung nach etwas monoton an und nicht so stimmungsvoll wie der Rest des Albums.

6.Wake Up
Wieder eine ruhige Nummer mit vielen Gesangseinlagen von Wiz. Der Song dreht sich um Wiz' Karriere, die für ihn wie ein schöner Traum ist. Er möchte nicht aufwachen und hat Angst, dass alles schnell vorbei sein könnte. Man hört auch hier den typischen "Wiz-Khalifa-Refrain" raus.
Wertung: 8,5/10
7.The Race
Nach 2 langsameren Tracks folgt mit "The Race" ein poppigerer Song mit Hammermelodie.
"The Race" passt perfekt zur momentanen Jahreszeit, wo es wärmer wird, die Pflanzen blühen und man die ersten Grillabende mit Freunden verbringt.
Wertung: 9,5/10
8.Star of the Show (feat. Chevy Woods)
Auch das zweite Feature des Albums überzeugt mich nicht. Ein Lied, dass man in 20 min. wieder vergessen hat. Keine Höhepunkte, kein besonders guter Flow. Eines der schwächsten Songs des Albums.
Wertung: 6/10
9.No Sleep
Nach der schwächeren Nummer zuvor kommt hier ein weiteres, wenn nicht "DAS" Highlight des Albums. "No Sleep", ein poppiger, melodischer Song mit einem richtig geilen Refrain. Im Song geht es um eine Partynacht "with no Sleep", also ohne Schlaf. Sehr unterhaltsame und empfehlenswerte Nummer die man immer wieder anhören kann.
Wertung: 10/10
10.Get Your Shirt
Dieser Song handelt inhaltlich von einer Trennung und wird durch akustische Gitarren eingeleitet, was sehr gut zur Atmosphäre passt. Ein sehr guter Song und für mich einer der besten des Albums.
Der Refrain und die letzte Strophe sind was Besonderes und meiner Meinung nach sehr gut gelungen.

CD Kritik/Review: "Rolling Papers" von Wiz Khalifa Teil 1
Wiz Khalifa, oder bürgerlich "Cameron Ermias Thomas" ist ein Rapper aus Pittsburgh.
Vielen hier in Deutschland ist oder war der Name "Wiz Khalifa" bisher unbekannt, obwohl er in den USA schon länger ein Superstar ist.Der Rapper, der seine Karriere im Alter von 17 Jahren begann, veröffentlichte bis jetzt 3 Studioalben.
-"Show and Prove" (2006)
-"Deal or No Deal" (2009)
-"Rolling Papers" (2011)
Außer den Studioalben veröffentlichte er mehrere kostenlos erhältliche Mixtapes zu Promotionzwecken, wie zum Beispiel "Cabin Fever" (2011).
Dem Englischkenner ist bestimmt schon aufgefallen, worum es sich in seinen Songs zum Großteil dreht: Drogen, vorzugsweise Marihuana oder Kush.
Wiz Khalifas' Stil ist schwer zu beschreiben. Er rappt sehr vielseitig. Man kennt von ihm derbe,harte Hip-Hop Sounds oder auch melodischere Songs, die sogar in Richtung "Pop" gehen. Eine Spezialität des Rappers ist der ruhige,entspannende Hip Hop mit sanften Beats und melodischem Refrain.
Das zeigt er auch in seinem Album "Rolling Papers", welches in den USA auf Platz 2. in den Albumcharts einstieg.
Die Singleauskopplung "Black & Yellow" belegte in den Amerikanischen Billboard Singlecharts sogar Platz 1.
